Hello everyone!  We had a great turnout for the Annual General Meeting which took place on October 27, 2020 via a Zoom call!  Thank you to all who attended.  We have a few announcements we’d like to share:

1.    Fall Clean-Up Update – The clean-up went very well on October 17!  The group was able to clean up the dune grass and trim overgrown trees/bushes at the Timber Winds entrance.  Weeding and pine needle clean-up were also done at the Grand Bluffs entrance.  Thank you to Dan Arsulowicz, Greg Simsa, Jerry VanderSloot, Deb Terborg, Gary Lorenz, Kevin DeVisser, Tom & Pat Macholan and Paul & Marie Kenny for all the volunteer hours needed to get the job done!

In addition to those clean-up efforts, Tom & Pat Macholan and Greg Simsa were able to trim a large oak branch hanging over the road on the Timber Winds circle.  We also hired a tree service to cut a large oak branch hanging over the road on the Grand Bluffs Drive hill.  This all took place in November due to a certain cutting timeframe of oak trees.

2.    Board Members – Your board members for 2021 are as follows:

John Woodward – President (1st term, 2 years)

Pat Macholan – Treasurer (2nd term, 2 years)

Marie Kenny – Secretary (2nd term, 1 year left)

Thank you to Gary Lorenz for serving as President the past 4 years (2 terms)!!

3.    Homeowners Dues – The annual dues have been raised to $1,365 for 2021.  Due statements will be sent out in early January.  The payment due date is March 1, 2021.

4.    Street Sign – New street signs were ordered for the corner of Timber Winds Drive and Grand Bluffs Drive since the original wooden sign had deteriorated at the bottom and fell over.  Thank you to Paul Kenny for installing the sign!

5.    Snowplowing – Carefree Lawn Service will be plowing our neighborhood streets again this year.  They have staked out the neighborhood with short orange stakes.  These stakes are meant to be a guide for the drivers for the first few snowfalls until the snow is piled high enough to then be the guide.  Carefree will collect the stakes in the Spring.  If you find that the stakes aren’t in the ground or not being used for their intended purpose, please collect them and store them away until Spring.

6.    Mailbox Flag Painting – I’m sure most of you have noticed that your mailbox flag, once red, is now pink.  If anyone is interested in having their mailbox flag painted, please contact Tom Macholan ( and he would be happy to do this for you!  In addition, if you need information on ordering a new mailbox or updating your existing one (instructions compliments of Dan Bigelow), please contact Marie Kenny (

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!
