A1 Asphalt will be resurfacing Timber Winds Dr on Monday, 8/27 and Tuesday, 8/28.  This work is urgently needed to prevent any further damage to the roads this winter that cannot be repaired by resurfacing.

Monday, 8/27

·         Timber Winds Dr will be milled and manholes raised

·         Roads open all day.  Please be careful when driving around trucks and workers

Tuesday, 8/28

·         Work to begin around 8:00am and be completed by approx 4:00pm

·         Work will begin on the West end of Timber Winds Dr (cul-de-sac)

·         Access to Timber Winds Dr, Timber Winds Ct, and Little Timber Ct will be limited during this time period.  Those who live on these streets should plan on being out by 8:00am or leaving a vehicle parked on Grand Bluffs Dr for the day

·         Grand Bluffs Dr and Grand Bluffs Ct will remain open all day.  Any access to the neighborhood from Butterworth will need to be from the Grand Bluffs Dr entrance

·         Once all work is completed, we can drive on the new pavement immediately

·         Mail service may be disrupted this day

·         Lot owners who have sprinkler heads along Timber Winds Dr should mark them prior to [Day 1].  Use spray paint, colored sticks, or flags.  A1 will take care around marked sprinkler heads, but is not responsible for repairing damaged sprinkler heads.

·         The road bed will be raised about 1.5 inches.  Some of the owners may see a gap against their yard levels.  Lot owners will be responsible for adding top soil\seed to compensate where necessary.
·         The milling on Monday will address the levels at driveways so there is no height difference there.  A1 will also mill at the junctions of Grand Bluff Dr. and Timber Winds Ct. to make the road bed the same level.

·         The board has also contracted with A1 Asphalt to resurface Grand Bluffs Dr in the Spring.  Our current budget did not allow for both roads to be done this fall, but Timber Winds Dr needed to be completed before the winter to avoid further repair costs.

·         At our next annual Association Meeting, we will discuss our options for resurfacing the rest of the neighborhood roads.  Please plan to attend this important meeting.  Date\Time\Location to be announced soon.
